World Premiere! NEW UPX400 - Pushing the limits of EDM

The UPX400 shifts the EDM boundaries. As the world leader in EDM, we are once again presenting at EMO an ultra-precision machine with independent upper and lower axis drive units, improved response, highest profile accuracy, new power supply unit (electrical discharge pulses over a smaller, finer range allow improved machine stability in finishing), renewal of all machining process conditions, new controls and independent top and bottom pumps, and proven and reliable automatic wire feed with jet-less functions.

Unique is also the possibility to access the working area from 3 sides and moreover this machine is automation ready.

World Premiere! NEW uCell B80

Makino launches the uCell B80 automation to meet the die & mould producer’s needs.  In the current situation, fewer and fewer machine operators have the skills or know-how to produce such highly complex components. Traditionally, the sector was proud of its craftmanship. Now the shortage of skilled labour is a perennial threat. With manufacturers increasingly having to produce parts in a lean, automated way with little or no human intervention. The uCell B80 automation will support to streamline and simplify the most complex processes 

With its compact design of 2.2m², the uCell B80 is an excellent automation solution for die and mould making.
Its payload is up to 80kg and the rack layout is configurable and compatible with standard pallets (ITS, Macro, UPC). The Job Manager is from Makino Asia and can be integrated with Zoller and ERP systems. RFID chips are also possible.
